Whether it is something with your latest update, my new computer or Trillian itself I have no way to determine, and Spectrasonics is not as much help as in the past, not to rag on them. This problem is simply that the Trillian bass note refuses to sustain when Mixing to New Audio Track, but plays fine just playing the VST or recording the sequence in real time and it has never been an issue previously _ since Mixcraft 3 or 4, this has been my 95% bass for hundreds of backing tracks. Don't know if this is at all related, but. I have no idea the significance, but there was a flag on the track by Mixcraft showing this segment was the issue, so I merged the two tracks and it was fine. Eventually traced it to an empty audio file created at 120 bpm and then copied and inserted in front of a track already at 104. I also had a temporary issue last night where the VST piano (Pianoteq 6 Stage) was about 40 cents flat, this survived a total reboot of the computer and Nord keyboard, and starting a new project. I have both separated channels set to the same Cut and Cut To channels, but the collision. However, when the second part transitions back into the first part, they collide and make a lot of unwanted noise. Thanks, already had, I only work at 44.1 and stereo WAV files and the interface is locked there. I created 2 separate Trillian channels, with the first and second parts of the pattern being split, but linking up to the same Mixer channel. Sorry I am a bit(!) long-winded but try to avoid the inevitable cross-questions. ![]() And that shows it is not an issue with the track itself. To be fair, it IS possible that Trillian is the culprit, if I use a Kontakt bass it doesn't SOUND as good, but PLAYS properly. I suppose I could try to record the performance in real time, but never had to before, all that seems to have changed is the Mixcraft update, so I wonder if anyone else has had this issue - and more important, how to fix it. But for some reason, I can PLAY the bass line by running the sequence and it is as it should be, but when I convert to audio, it only sustains for 3 or four beats max (to the next downbeat,) regardless of the midi note length (no midi overlaps, single bass note at a time.) The cutoff is abrupt and clunky, neither a simple stop or a default fade, more like a door shutting in the middle of a conversation. ahk file called something like "TrillianHiding.I use Trillian for just about ALL my midi bass lines, and up till this new computer and Mixcraft update, it has worked perfectly. The script makes it collapse to the top-left corner (because that will have the same coordinates on everyone's screen, no matter what the resolution, so it should work for you). Here's a cool little AHK script that overcomes a real irritation I've found with trillian: it collapses to the edge of the screen, not to the corner.
